The Solidor composite door is manufactured in the UK using a solid timber core which is fully encapsulated within a highly durable plastic edge banding and two grained thermo plastic door facings that create a visually stunning entrance door that replicate the traditional appearance of a timber door but with none of the maintenance requirements associated with timber doors.
Doors are available as single entrance doors, french doors, stable doors and can also be supplied with matching top lights and side panels. You can choose from a range of 14 different door colours that can be specified for the inside or outside of the door sash and many can also be supplied with matching colour frames.
High Security Locking
You will feel safe and secure with a range of superior high security locking systems that coupled with the unique reinforced frame and solid door construction provides probably the strongest and most secure composite door on the market. Multi-point locks feature hook bolt locking operated from conventional lever handles or a key operated locking system can be specified if you prefer which can be combined with a traditional rim latch option. There are also two keyless digital locking options if you would prefer to eliminate keys altogether.

Solidor composite doors have been designed to be enviromentally friendly using sustainable construction components and an extensive program of fully recycling packaging and waste material used in the manufacture of the product. These include:

Solidor composite doors offer an energy efficient entrance door solution with U-values as low as 1.1 W/m2k.
Glazing Options
There is a huge range of decorative glass options available for your new composite door including traditional lead, glass bevels and sandblast designs. All glazing is double glazed or triple glazed sealed units with toughened or laminated glass providing excellent heat retention properties. The glazing cassette system has clean lines with concealed fixing and can be removed from the inside should it ever be necessary to re-glaze the door.
